PTA Reflections Art Program needs a 2019-20 lead
Each year, Wedgwood Elementary students participate in the Reflections Program, a National and Washington State PTA cultural arts competition. A student may submit an original entry in any of the following arts areas: visual arts photography, literature, music composition, dance choreography, and film production. The theme of the 2019-2020 competition is: “Look Within.”
Last year, several Wedgwood students were recognized for their original works. Please help us continue to emphasize the importance of an art education by volunteering to lead this effort! This is a lighter volunteer lift: we need someone to keep our community aware of deadlines and submission information, and celebrate our students who participate (which is pretty easy!). Thank you to Renee Davis for leading the program this year. For more information, contact: email@example.com.
We need volunteers for summer watering in the Wedgwood Garden!
We need volunteers to sign up for a week or two this summer to keep our garden growing. you just need to water twice in the week you sign up for and you can sign up for only half the garden. Bringing your kids to the playground? Why not water while they play? On a hot day you can delight you kids with a sprinkle from the hose.
Eriksen Tutoring: Summer spots available!
As a past Seattle Public Schools student, my philosophy for tutoring is to get to know students, recognize their goals, and find out how we can best work together to enjoy what they're learning or working on! Whether a student is looking to maintain the skills they already have, or find ways to get past a challenge they're currently facing, I am here to help! Please visit this website for more information.
