Wedgwood Reflections Artists at Seattle Center
Congratulations Wedgwood Elementary Reflections Artists! All 11 artists' work were submitted to the PTA Reflections Council and will be on display over the holidays.
Art on Display, Seattle Center Armory Loft (November 30, 2018 – January 6, 2019):
It's a part of Winterfest at the Armory!
There is a special reception THIS Sunday, Dec. 2, for artists, from 2-3 p.m.
This is an informal reception - light snacks (usually cookies and juice) will be served and we will show the film/dance/music entries on a loop during this hour. No formal announcements/activities will happen; just a time for families to come enjoy the exhibit (and Sundays are free parking downtown).
Visit Wedgwood PTA's new website!
Don't forget to check out the new website dedicated to PTA news, information and events at Wedgwood Elementary. We recognized the need for a dedicated place families can go for information ranging from the lunch bell schedule to the calendar of events to a breakdown of what the PTA does at Wedgwood Elementary. We hope you’ll find it to be a useful tool and encourage you all to spend some time checking it out! https://www.wedgwoodpta.org/.
Wedgwood Pantry
Thank you to everyone who donated to the food drive at the Fall dance. Thanks to your generosity we have filled up the Wedgwood Pantry. If your family is in need of food support simply visit the pantry (located in the basement near the elevator) and either grab pre-packaged bags or select whatever you'd like by creating your own bag. The Wedgwood Pantry is supplemented all year long by donating to the food drive bin at the main entrance. Thank you for your support! - Yoko Shimomura
Also: Please contact shimomurayoko@gmail.com if you have interest in managing the Wedgwood Pantry next year.... I am graduating.
Thank you, Wedgwood!
The 2018 Pledge Drive is over and what a success you've made it. Ninety-four families and 6 staff contributed to the Pledge Drive raising $23,720! THANK YOU for your donations and support of our incredible school community.
If you haven't had the opportunity to donate, please don't hesitate to send in your contributions this week. All donations are 100% tax deductible and go to support student learning and community building here at Wedgwood Elementary.
