Brain Trust Support Network

The Brain Trust is a PTA-led support network for Wedgwood Elementary families whose students use adaptive learning services, such as early intervention for reading, the Resource Room (for Individualized Education Programs), or Section “504” disability accommodations.  We help families connect and share questions, insights, and resources.  We empower our scholars to thrive and help center their voices and experiences within our school community.

Primary services include quarterly group meetups and a private Google Group to host online chats and discussions about issues arising for students who learn, think, or access curriculum uniquely. Direct outreach is also available for those wanting a one-on-one chat with another Brain Trust member who can listen empathetically and be a sounding board.  All support is free and provided by volunteers.
